Virtual Office Visits

There are certain situations in which you can now receive your medical care from the comfort of your home or place of employment.  If you are otherwise feeling well and simply need refills, have a few questions, or want to discuss test results, then this type of visit may be perfect for you.  I will be tending to these requests throughout the day, providing you with prompt and convenient care.  Should I feel the need to see you in person at the office after you submit an online visit, you will not be billed for the virtual visit.

At the present time, insurance reimbursement for this type of medical care is sporadic.  We expect this to become less of an issue as more physicians adopt electronic records and more patients use the internet to interact with their health care providers.  For now, I offer this service for those willing to pay out of pocket - $35/visit which is only slightly more than what many people spend as a co-pay for a regular office visit.  Check with your insurance carrier to see whether or not you may be able to submit the bill to them for reimbursement.
